# XP points system

## **XP Distributions and choices :** 

You can choose to place your experience points either on your Warshmallows cards or directly on your account.

XP gained is used to level up a character or an account. 

Each time a character levels up, they are automatically assigned basic stats based on their chosen class (for example, a tank will be assigned more health points and lower attack points and movement speed points) 

Players can still choose to prioritize a stat over another at each level in the [skills tree](/warshmallowsworld/welcome/the-warshmallows/the-warshmallows-collectibles/skills-tree.md).
